I often say that I have never had a boring day in my 31 years of dentistry.

Educational Background

Dr. Annette Warren earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in the United States from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1990. She returned to the Bahamas but maintained her commitment to continuing education by attending annual courses in the United States, in particular those with a special emphasis on cosmetic dentistry.

Her more recent pursuit of continuing education further enhance her knowledge and ability to educate her patients on the compelling link between their oral health and overall systemic health. This has become more applicable as she treats patients for sleep apnea, knowing the multiple organs that are affected by this disorder and how a simple but effective device can help them live a better life.

She is currently licensed to practice both in the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and in the United States. In 2005, Dr. Warren attended the Dawson School of Advanced Dental Study, which equipped her with the skills to treat the most complex of cases. In 2006, Dr. Warren completed the course for Lumineers® ultra-thin veneers and became a certified Invisalign® provider.

Philosophy of Care

Dr. Warren is passionate about providing the highest quality of comprehensive dental care in a comfortable environment. She strongly believes that each patient is unique and requires a custom-made dental plan. Patients are encouraged to become active participants in their own dental care and therefore Dr. Warren promotes patient education to enable them to make well informed decisions about their dental health and in turn, their general health.

The preeminence of Dr. Warren’s practice is demonstrated in its warm and friendly customer service while operating in a state-of-the-art dental environment. She is always focused on patient comfort and has developed a reputation for having a gentle touch. One of Dr. Warren’s greatest joys in dentistry is the personal fulfillment she experiences from affecting a life by restoring a smile or providing excellent dental care for her family of patients, both young and old.

Affiliations

At the center of Dr. Warren’s success is her dedication to community dentistry in the Bahamas. On separate occasions, she has served as the President and Vice President of the Bahamas Dental Association and has also served as a board member of the Bahamas Dental Council. Her recognition of the necessity for the fight against breast cancer in the Bahamas has resulted in her investing her time and resources towards this worthy cause.

Outside the Office

Dr. Warren believes in being a well-rounded professional and seizes the opportunities to develop herself and embrace life through travel, exercise, meeting new people, and of course spending quality time with family and friends. She is married to Bahamian artist Antonius Roberts.
